Hotel Hugo New York

The hotel's location near Greenwich Village was excellent. However, the room had some maintenance issues like chipped paint, a leaking shower, and a non-functioning coffee maker. There were cleanliness concerns, dated decor, and environmental issues.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to various neighborhoods and attractions in New York City. the staff, especially the front desk manager Mike, was incredibly friendly and professional, making our stay truly memorable. However, improvements could be made in terms of room cleanliness and noise disturbances from the rooftop bar.

Stayed here for 5 days, loved the hotel, it was fairly clean with incredible location close to the tube station. The staff was amicable, attentive, and everything was excellent.

The spacious room was so comfy, and the spot was killer - water views but close to Soho, West Village, and Tribeca; loved the café downstairs and the rooftop vibes. Gigi at the front desk was a gem – cheerful, friendly, and accommodating. Enjoyed chillin' at the rooftop and getting a massage 🛁. Only gripe? Overpriced breakfast - $24 for a two-egg brekkie? Nah, pass. But overall, a rad stay!

We liked the hotel, it was cool and fairly clean. The room was perfect with a view and had an individual safe and a refrigerator. We stayed in the deluxe king room, walking distance to Houston Street metro station, just 15 minutes on foot. Late check-out was useful.

The bedframe was a wood, low platform bed with VERY sharp edges. It got blood from my husband’s shin…. Disclaimer: no husbands were harmed in the making of this review! But seriously, he managed to bump into the bedframe, and it left a tiny scratch. It's a memory we'll laugh about for years!

The fresh pasta at Hugo's restaurant had me on cloud nine—truly an epicurean delight! The friendly staff and comfy beds were also big wins. Plus, the prime location made exploring Soho a breeze.

While Hugo aims for a luxury boutique vibe, the rooms fell short in size and amenities. No chargers to borrow and thin walls left me feeling a bit cramped.

Staff at this hotel was incredibly friendly and the male staff member at check-in and the housekeeping were very kind and attentive; they even checked on guests waiting for their rooms. the location is fantastic, as it's quiet yet close to all the action in Soho and the West Village.

My stay at Hotel Hugo was great! I was in New York for a few days for some entertainment activities, and the hotel's location was perfect. The plumbing in the hotel was poor, with the sink having only hot or cold water, not a mix of the two. the shower also had a poor design, requiring one to get wet to turn it on and warm it up.

The room amenities were great, everything from the soundproofed rooms to the in-room safe made me feel comfortable and secure. The restaurant had good food and great service. I especially loved the terrace with garden furniture where I could enjoy a delicious welcome drink.

Enjoyed the boutique aesthetic at Hotel Hugo in NY. Impressed by the rooftop bar ambiance. However, the cafe and staff need improvement. Visiting Arlo's for drinks before 3:00pm. a nice place with potential for more.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet area but still within walking distance to everything Soho has to offer. I loved being able to explore the nearby Spring Street and Hudson Street, which had great options for dining and shopping. Additionally, the hotel was just a short walk away from the beautiful Hudson River Park, where I enjoyed a relaxing stroll along the riverside.

Great location, just two blocks from the Hudson River Park and within walking distance of Spring Street and Hudson Street. Spacious and comfortable rooms with a beautiful view of the Hudson. Easy access to the subway and plenty of options for dining, shopping, and entertainment nearby. The hotel has a gym, restaurant, and a rooftop bar with stunning city views and delicious cocktails and snacks.

I selected this hotel for a work session due to the excellent 500 ft2 Conference Room, which provided a warm and modern space for my business meeting. The comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms were great for relaxing after a long day.

The only service I missed for my work session was the lack of complimentary WiFi in the conference room, which would have been convenient for sharing presentations and documents with my colleagues.

The authentic Manhattan jazz clubs nearby kept us entertained with sizzling music well into the wee hours of the morning, creating a truly unforgettable experience.

My wife says that having more kid-friendly dining options would enhance the family experience.
